Small-scale charity projects
Every year, Books 4 Life also supports a number of concrete, small-scale charity projects around the world. In fact, 50% of the money raised through book sales is reserved for this purpose. Each shop selects its own charity projects to support based on proposals submitted by the shop's volunteer team. Anyone who volunteers for Books 4 Life is entitled to put forward a suggestion of a charity project that they feel passionate about – whether this is through their own personal experience with the organisation or because family members or friends are involved with the organisation's work.
Please note: Books 4 Life cannot consider or honour spontaneous applications for funding from charitable organisations – all small-scale charity projects that we support are in some way personally connected to one of our own volunteers.
